Before talking about haircare and styling, let us take a critical look at your diet – beautiful hair is not just a gift from nature. A varied diet and a sufficient supply of all the nutrients essential for hair growth are just as important. The root cells take up plenty of energy to actively split and form new, healthy hair. They draw this energy not from haircare products, but from your blood. Nutritional deficiencies or excessive dieting can lead to thin, brittle, dull hair. Treat yourself and your hair to enough vitamins, proteins, mineral substances and trace elements in a balanced diet of plenty fruit, fish, poultry, leafy green vegetables, milk, soy and grains. And remember to drink plenty of water. Hair needs abundance of fluids, like all the cells in your body.
